Rooted in Christ. Growing in Unity. Glorifying God.

At Kids of The Kingdom Global, we believe the foundation of every strong family is Jesus Christ — the Rock upon which lives are built and restored. Our mission is simple but powerful: to nurture youth and families around the world through faith-based discipleship, creative expression, and community development, all centered on the eternal love of our Lord and Savior.

We are more than a program — we are a movement led by the Spirit, answering the call to disciple the next generation for the Kingdom of God. Through worship, theater, education, outreach, and fellowship, we cultivate environments where young people discover their God-given purpose and thrive within a Christ-centered family of believers.

One Kingdom
One God

Our Story

Kids of The Kingdom Global is the continuation of the original youth ministry founded by Carolyn McKenzie— a vision born in faith and nurtured through generations. As our family reunites this year in the Kingdom of Tonga, we are using this opportunity to expand the heart of the ministry beyond borders, launching Kids of The Kingdom Global into a worldwide mission grounded in Christ.

This growth is made possible through our connection with the Native Pacific Islander Exchange (NPIE) — a community development organization led by Kali K., who serves as a bridge between outreach efforts and spiritual readiness. While Diamond leads the day-to-day operations and vision of Kids of The Kingdom Global, Kali K. ensures that individuals referred through NPIE are spiritually aligned and suitable for the mission and calling of KoKG.

Together, we’re uniting cultural preservation with Kingdom purpose — empowering youth and families to grow strong in Christ, serve with joy, and carry His love across nations.

Our Core Values

What guides our motives for this movement?

We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of this ministry and fully submit ourselves to His will. In every aspect of our ministry our goal is always to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for Christians. Therefore, we submit ourselves to its teaching, commit ourselves to do what it says, and yield our lives to become what Christ desires for us to be.

We believe in the power of prayer. Therefore, the ministries and activities our church will be characterized by a reliance on personal and corporate prayer in all areas of our lives and ministry.

We believe in the Great Commission commanded to us by Jesus Christ and we are committed to reaching unsaved and unchurched people locally, nationally and worldwide. We will use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, win and disciple the people in our sphere of influence.

We believe God ordained the family to glorify him. We are committed to cultivate an atmosphere which promotes spiritual growth within the family by reaching families with the gospel, discipling them in Christ-like character and teaching each family member how to fulfill their God-given role.

Team Leader Requirements

1. Genuine Faith and Spiritual Maturity
A Kids of the Kingdom Global leader walks in a deep, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. They demonstrate:

Daily Dependence on Prayer: They seek God’s guidance before making decisions, modeling a life shaped by Scripture (Philippians 4:6–7).

Biblical Servanthood: Like Jesus washing the disciples’ feet (John 13:14–15), our leaders serve humbly—whether that means sitting on the floor to pray with a child, staying late to encourage a struggling family, or lending a listening ear to a team member in need.

Consistent Integrity: Their words and actions align with their faith. When they make a promise—big or small—they keep it.

2. Cultural Respect and Identity
Rooted in Polynesian values of community, family, and respect. Our leaders:

Honor Ancestral Traditions: They demonstrate a heart for cultural preservation, understanding the songs, dances, and stories that connect families to their island heritage.

Bridge-builder Mentality: Because Kids of the Kingdom Global draws from Tongan, Samoan, Fijian, and broader Pacific Islander backgrounds, an ideal leader knows how to honor each culture’s unique customs—inviting grandparents to share stories, hosting prayer circles in native tongues, and creating space for tribal blessings.

Cultural Humility: They never treat tradition as a “checklist.” Instead, they listen deeply, ask respectful questions, and include older generations in planning for events, ensuring that cultural celebration and spiritual growth go hand in hand.

3. Compassionate and Relational Heart
Children, youth, and families thrive under leaders who truly care. We look for:

Empathy and Presence: A leader who can sit down on the floor and meet a child at eye level, who senses when a family needs support but may be reluctant to ask.

Active Listening: They ask open-ended questions—“How can we pray for you?” or “What’s your family’s biggest hope this month?”—and give people time and space to respond.

Empowering Others: Whether discipling a teenage volunteer or mentoring a first-time Sunday School teacher, they invest in people’s gifts and dreams, celebrating small victories and reminding everyone, “God made you on purpose, for a purpose.”

4. Visionary and Mission-Focused
Our programs—from Bible camps to family retreat weekends—require leaders who can:

Articulate a Clear Vision: They are able to paint a picture of where we’re heading: “Imagine 500 Polynesian children learning about Jesus through song, dance, and community service.” This vision inspires hearts to rally around the cause.

Strategic Planning: While passion fuels momentum, our leaders ensure that logistics—budgets, volunteer schedules, safety protocols—are managed with excellence.

Adaptability: Today’s world shifts quickly—technology updates, health guidelines change, or a last-minute travel delay may arise. A strong leader embraces flexibility with a calm spirit, adjusting timelines without losing sight of the mission.

5. Servant Leadership and Team Building
We model ourselves after Christ, who led by laying down His life (Mark 10:45). Our leaders:

Roll Up Their Sleeves: They next to wash dishes, help set up chairs, or drive the van when needed—never too “important” to do the work themselves.

Encourage Unity: Whether collaborating with NPIE’s cultural team or partnering with a local church in Tonga, they foster a spirit of collaboration. They celebrate each team member’s gifts—musicians, cooks, East-side volunteers, and elder advisors—and ensure everyone understands, “We’re stronger together!”

Conflict Resolution: They handle disagreements or misunderstandings quickly, graciously, and humbly. They seek to reconcile hearts, remembering that “peacekeepers bring healing.”

In Closing
At Kids of the Kingdom Global, our team leaders don’t simply fill roles—they embody a calling. They combine unwavering faith with deep cultural respect, a servant’s heart with a visionary mindset, and relational warmth with operational savvy. If you sense God stirring these same passions within you—if you long to blend Christ-centered discipleship with Polynesian pride—then perhaps you’re ready to lead alongside us. Let us walk together (Tō od gong) until every man, woman, and child knows they are part of God’s Kingdom and part of a family that spans oceans._nonce

“The greatest among you shall be your servant.”

Nestled in the heart of the South Pacific, the Kingdom of Tonga—fondly called “The Friendly Islands” by Captain James Cook—stands as a living testament to warm hospitality, unwavering faith, and vibrant cultural heritage. As the only surviving Polynesian kingdom, Tonga’s people have long embraced Christianity, making the Gospel a guiding light in everyday life: Sundays are sacred, families gather in song and prayer, and generosity flows freely from one island to the next. At Kids of the Kingdom Global, we believe that this same spirit of aloha—rooted in Christ’s example of love and servanthood—can transform children and families around the world. By signing up with us, you’ll join a community that honors Tongan & Polynesian tradition (from the joyful hymns echoing in village churches to the timeless dance of the ta’olunga aka hula) while equipping the next generation with Bible-based values, leadership training, and cross‐island fellowship. Together, we’ll share the Good News on every shore, nurture young hearts in faith and culture, and extend Tonga’s legendary kindness beyond its turquoise waters. Be part of something greater than yourself—where God’s kingdom and Tonga’s “friendly” promise meet to empower children as true sons and daughters of the one true King, Jehovah, God Almighty, God of Abraham, Isaac & Moses.
